How to achieve a C Grade

The EPC  shows recommendations on how to achieve a C grade or higher. 

However, these recommendations are accumulative, which means it can be difficult to identify which changes are exactly needed to achieve a C Grade.

I offer a bespoke service, where I visit the property to carry out an initial assessment to see which grade the property currently is. Then using this EPC as a draft copy, I can then liaise with the owner and offer advice on the easiest and cheapest ways for the property to achieve a C Grade.

I also offer revisits during construction if any wall, floor, or roof insulation is being installed and may be covered up after construction.

• The cost of this service is £60 for the initial assessment and creation of a draft EPC.
• The final visit to inspect the recommendations and how they have been implemented to ensure the property receives a C Grade EPC and to lodge on to the register is £30.
• Each visit to the property to record any insulation which may be later covered up, such as floor insulation, wall insulation, or roof insulation will be charged at £30.
